" dresses will both strive for honors during a 14th annual

Costume Designers Guild Awards

The guild announced a list of nominees, with a perse list of contenders that enclosed "Thor," "Bridesmaids," "The Artist," "

Harry Potter

and a Deathly Hallows -- Part 2" and

The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo

."

On a TV front, HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" and "Game of Thrones" are both adult for nods, as good as Showtime's "The Borgias" among others.

The ceremony, that will be hosted by

Jane Lynch

of "Glee" (which is also adult for an award), will take place on Feb 21 in Los Angeles.
