Great bulb
By anonymous
This tuber works good for me. we have dual of them, one on a First Alert PIR725 Motion Sensing Socket and a other on a unchanging wall switch. Both work excellent - present on and bright. we also possess a ThetaLux - 9 Watt LED Light Bulb chronicle of this bulb. we used a Extech HD450 Light Meter to magnitude a light outlay and can endorse it puts out some-more than a 9w version.
As distant as we know, this is now (Dec 2011) a brightest A19 E27 bottom (standard light bulb) LED deputy bulb.
One of a bulbs has a slight hum/buzz sound entrance from it, not unpleasant, though conspicuous within 3 feet of a bulb. It's excellent for many uses, though we wouldn't use it as a reading lamp.
The tuber is complicated and might disintegrate tiny fixtures like a Lite Source LS-211WHT Goosy Desk Lamp. 5000K light tone is a small on a sheer side for me, we cite 4000K. But I'd rather have 5000K than 2700K that is too yellow for me. Light outlay is also some-more directional than a CFL or incandescent. You might not like this tuber (or any directional bulb) in a tie that's ostensible to irradiate a room, like an roof light. Directional bulbs are improved matched for list lamps.

Very Bright Led House Bulb!
By john dough
This evolux 1000 lumens tuber is bright, a really purify white illumination, no cheapie Leds here. This tuber is complicated for a light bulb, it feels good done and solid. It got prohibited after 3 hours so we altered plcae and it did NOT strech that temp again. Must have been an aged flare or improper wattage.
This light works best when hung from a roof socket, a still effective on a list flare though not optimized. we cant wait for a prices to tumble so we can supplement this tuber to each room. For now this $25.00 tuber proudly displays itself in my home office. Buy this Bulb here on Amazon and get it quik, and get it cheaper!
Amazon is a blessing!

very bright, good color
By T. Taylor
i bought this as a exam to review to a integrate 6 watt LEDs i bought. this tuber is really bright, and when used as a directional tuber (i use cave in a building station torchiere where a tuber points up) it seems like a 100 watt incandescent. as with other LEDs, it doesn't do most light to a side, so if we use it in an area that needs light in all directions you'll substantially be disappointed. i had hoped to put these in can light fixtures, though a feverishness penetrate 'fins' on them get really hot, and nonetheless it's still cooler than a 18w CFLs i have in my can lights now, i consider i'll wait until they get cooler for that. as for a 5000K, i privately adore a light it puts out - i'm not sentimental for a yellowish light that incandescents put out, though cite to have light that approximates daytime, it creates SAD reduction of an emanate in a winter and colors looks brighter. in my personal opinion, LEDs give off a some-more 'solid' light than CFLs (kind of tough to report what i mean), that i like also. so, bottom line for me, good light output, unsatisfactory feverishness when touching a fins, labelled too high right now for me to buy some-more than a one. if a alleviation bend on LEDs is identical to CFLs, these should be only about a ideal light tuber in about 18 months.
