By Thomas Sweney
I usually got this camera currently it is easy to use and navagate. The touchscreen works good with fingers as wellas a enclosed stylus (i put it on a palm tag for easy access) The stylus works good when logging into facebook, youtube, photobucket and a many other accessible places to share your photos. we uploaded a design to facebook with relations ease.I favourite a automobile backup too, we can backup your cinema to a Pc yet joining a camera to a Pc (awesome!!)The design peculiarity is good too!The video mode supports HD 720p i havent attempted it nonetheless yet a HD! we advise this camera to anyone looking for an easy to use indicate and click camera with some flog donkey extras like a ability to hold adult / revise photos before u send them on their approach to FB or wherever we send them!

Samsung Still has Work to Do
By thirdnormal
I bought this camera and used it extensively on a dual week outing to Europe. Overall we am happy with it, it took good cinema and was flattering easy to use.
I LOVE a fact that we can assign a battery yet holding it out of a camera (Like a approach we assign a dungeon phone). No need for a apart charger, so one reduction square of rigging to projection around. The advantage of this also means we can assign it on an as-needed basement (I charged it by a energy opening in a let automobile we was driving). This was a pivotal underline that gathering my squeeze decision, and a bizarre that it doesn't get mentioned many in a selling novel given it's a vital advantage over a competition.
The hold shade interface is a beating though. If we are used to a intelligent phone form hold shade afterwards this shade will seem delayed and clunky. It feels some-more like a PDA from 2004 than a intelligent phone from 2011. Also, putting all a controls on a hold shade creates for some usability issues. we would cite to see earthy buttons for ordinarily used operations like branch a peep on and off. A camera is a dedicated device so should be optimized for common photography use cases.
The wireless connectivity was flattering cool, yet again suffered usability issues. Connecting to wireless networks was a pain with a clunky hold screen. This is a prolonged approach from an iPhone or Android OS. Also, there doesn't seem to be any control over a name of a manuscript or a theme of a facebook post. The wireless connectivity is is a unequivocally cold idea, yet it still has some approach to go before being truly compelling.
At a finish of a day we consider my income was good spent. Samsung is on to a good thing and we wish they continue elaborating this product line.

Great intensity hold behind by quirky software
By Clayton R.
I usually perceived my SH100 today, so we won't try to do a full in-depth review. However, in a hours that I've played with it we can already tell that there are utterly a few 'quirks' that severely impede an differently good camera.
First, a camera comes with a touchscreen interface for many of a functions. Sadly, it also comes with a stylus which, in my experience, isn't discretionary to use in many situations (such as typing) - during slightest with my vast fingers. Even worse - there isn't a place to store a stylus within a camera itself. Instead, it clips and hangs awkwardly from a lanyard. While a generally tiny bother (and maybe a non-issue for those with smaller fingers), it would have been many nicer if a shade was supportive adequate to work around hold or there were watchful navigation buttons.
The biggest emanate for me, however, has to be a program using on a camera. The UI isn't unequivocally flattering and is awkwardly organized. It feels unequivocally fast thrown together. Again, this is a teenager disappointment, yet something that should have been easy to fix. Unfortunately, that isn't all. The program is also utterly buggy! we had found several issues within a initial few mins (where was a QC?!) that took hours to resolve. For one thing, logging in to Picasa was a genuine pain as there were issues with a program noticing both my email residence AND password. The login for Picasa should be a same as my Google login. However, my comment is compared with several email addresses and usually one of them was supposed for some reason (and it wasn't my normal gmail.com account, it was a tertiary residence we frequency use). Even worse - there's a critical bug in a cue doing that prevents it from noticing a cue with any special characters! As best we can tell, usually numbers and letters will work as they should. If we enter a cue with a special impression a cue will not be accepted. This was a genuine problem for me as we did not wish to change my cue (I use many opposite Google services opposite many devices, and changing a login certification on all of them would be a genuine headache!) Fortunately, we detected an undocumented workaround/hack. If we change special characters to URL encoding (so pa$$word becomes pa%24%24word) it will work (even yet it unequivocally shouldn't!) Unfortunately, this seems to forestall a cue from being stored scrupulously (only characters adult to a initial % are stored!). So distant we have usually attempted logging in to a Picasa service, yet we think these issues are benefaction in all cue fields and might good extend to user names, etc.
To be fair, a camera has some unequivocally good facilities and it takes unequivocally good cinema for a price. In fact, it unequivocally could be an AMAZING camera if they ever get a program straightened out. Unfortunately, until new firmware is released, this camera has depressed sincerely brief of a potential.
